01 / Focused consultation

Get help with a specific question.

A focused consultation helps you examine a specific decision, review your accounts or get a second perspective.

Before starting, we agree on the question, the information needed and an estimate of the work. You receive a written summary explaining what we found, the assumptions we used and the steps to consider.

  • Review an allocation or account structure.
  • Explore a retirement or cash-flow question.
  • Identify issues to discuss with your CPA or attorney.

No asset transfer or management enrollment is required. A limited consultation may identify questions that need a broader engagement.

02 / Comprehensive planning

Purchase a comprehensive financial plan.

This service is the purchase of a written financial plan for a standard flat fee, which can be negotiated. The plan examines how the relevant parts of your financial life fit together and what needs attention to support your goals.

What your plan can cover

Select a topic to see what it covers. The areas addressed depend on your agreed scope.

Retirement & income

Explore when you want to retire, the spending your income would need to support and how the relevant accounts and income sources could work together.

Cash flow

Review income, spending, debt payments and cash reserves to understand what is available for current needs and longer-term goals.

Investment allocation

Consider how your investments fit your goals, time horizon, risk capacity, liquidity needs and account structure. Purchasing a plan does not automatically include ongoing portfolio management.

Income tax planning

Examine how planning decisions may affect your tax position and identify questions to coordinate with your tax professional. This does not include preparing a tax return.

Insurance needs

Review the protection you have, the risks you want to address and potential gaps or overlaps to investigate.

Estate coordination

Consider beneficiary designations, how assets are titled and the planning questions to discuss with your attorney. This does not include drafting legal documents.

Your purchase includes the written financial plan, a prioritized action list and a meeting to review the reasoning and your questions. We agree in writing on the scope and flat fee before beginning.

Tax planning and estate coordination do not include tax return preparation or legal document drafting. Implementation and follow-up responsibilities are agreed separately.

03 / Investment management

Have an adviser manage your portfolio.

Investment management covers selecting and implementing investments, monitoring the portfolio and rebalancing within agreed authority. The engagement includes a defined planning service.

The investment approach uses diversified allocation models adjusted for goals, risk, liquidity, taxes, account needs and agreed restrictions. The service model uses client accounts at an independent custodian.

The agreement defines trading authority, monitoring responsibilities, fees and the planning included. Custodian and management fee details are not published on this site.
